Old Barn Whittington

Old Barn is the name of this place, it's in Whittington near Lichfield. It's a barn conversion, part of a farmhouse but you've got it to yourselves. The main room is open plan, with a wood burner. It's got two bedrooms, both with their own shower rooms, which is handy. One's got a super king bed, the other has two singles. It's got a 4 Star rating.

Outside there's a private patio with seating. You look out over fields. Parking is right there.

The village shop and post office is a few minutes' walk away. There are a couple of pubs in walking distance too, The Crown and The Swan.

Lichfield is about ten minutes in the car. The cathedral is the main thing there, and there are shops and cafes. Tamworth Castle is about twenty minutes away. For a bigger walk, Cannock Chase is fifteen minutes north. The National Memorial Arboretum is about twenty minutes drive.

If you want to go further, you can get into the Peak District in under half an hour. Alton Towers is about twenty five minutes away if that's your sort of thing.

It's okay to bring dogs, up to two. There's a washing machine, the wifi usually works, and all the bedding and towels are included.
