The Colleys Lechlade on Thames

The Colleys is a cottage in the middle of Lechlade high street. It’s above some shops. You’ll see the Crampi Deli cafe next door.

It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. Both have king sized beds. One of them has an extra little bed for a child. They each have their own shower room.

There's a small kitchen and living area on the first floor, with a table. A few more stairs up and there’s a second lounge with a desk if you need to work.

Parking isn't on site. You can park on the street, or there are a couple of public car parks a short walk away. They’re free or pay-and-display. The courtyard garden at the back is enclosed, with a couple of chairs.

The cottage has a 5 Star rating. That means it’s well equipped and finished to a high standard. Everything’s included: bedding, towels, WiFi, a washing machine, that sort of thing.

Being on the high street means everything is right outside. There are pubs, restaurants, and shops. The River Thames is a two minute walk. You can go for a stroll along it, or hire a boat or paddleboard.

Burford is about 15 minutes drive. Cirencester is maybe 25. The Cotswold Water Park is nearby if you want to go sailing or fishing.

For wider days out, you’ve got places like Cotswold Wildlife Park, or Kelmscott Manor. The National Trust’s Buscot Park is also close.
