Martinsgate Snug Middlesmoor

Martinsgate Snug is a studio apartment in Middlesmoor. That's a small village in Nidderdale, up on the hill. The view down the dale to the reservoir is the main thing.

It's a one-room setup, so it's just for two people. King size bed, a small kitchen area, and a separate shower room. There's a utility cupboard too. The building is old, from about 1850, so there are low beams and stone doorframes. You'll need to mind your head.

It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well-kept. The WiFi works. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.

The village is quiet. There's a pub, the Crown Hotel, which does food. For a proper shop or a cafe, you'd drive down to Pateley Bridge. It's about five miles. They've got a good sweet shop there.

If you're here to walk, you're in the right place. The Nidderdale Way goes through. You can walk straight out onto the moors or down to the river. For a day out, Fountains Abbey is about half an hour's drive. Bolton Abbey estate is similar. Harrogate, for the Turkish Baths or the shops, is about 40 minutes.
