Wellgate is in Middlesmoor, in Upper Nidderdale. It's a stone cottage from the 1850s. It's semi-detached, mostly just one house but joined to the next one at the side. The front of the house looks out over fields.
It's for two people. There are two bedrooms, both upstairs, and two bathrooms, one on each floor. It's got a 4 Star rating. The stairs are proper cottage stairs, so they're steep and a bit narrow.
There's a wood burner in the living room. It's the main source of heat, so you'll need to use it when it's cold. The kitchen has what you need. There's a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's a small seating area at the front.
The pub is about a minute's walk away. It's a proper local. They do food and local beer.
For walking, you can start right from the door. The Nidderdale National Landscape site has maps and ideas. Pateley Bridge is about seven miles for shops and cafes. Masham is ten miles.

Further out, Ripon or Harrogate are within 45 minutes if you want a bigger town.
