The Guards Quarters is a bungalow in Silloth. It's one of three cottages in the old court house and police station, which means the walls are thick.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower over the bath. The rating is 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well looked after. Because it's a bungalow, there's only one step up to the front door and no stairs inside.
The main room is open plan. Kitchen at one end, dining table in the middle, sofas and TV at the other. You get your own garden out the back with a seating area.
Silloth is a quiet seaside town. The beach and the big green are a five minute walk. The promenade is good for a proper stretch of the legs. The local pub is about the same distance. The Silloth on Solway golf club is a ten minute walk.
You can drive to the edge of the Lake District in under half an hour. Carlisle is about the same. Maryport has a roman museum if that's your thing. The Solway coast itself is good for birdwatching and windy walks.
Inside there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs.
