The Court House
The Court House is in Silloth. It used to be the magistrates' court. It’s right by the cobbled promenade, so you’re in the middle of things.
The house sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It’s got a 4 Star rating. It’s been done up well inside. There’s parking.
The stairs are fine. There's a step up into the kitchen from the dining room. The front has a seating area, which is nice on a sunny evening. The kids' park is just over the road.
Silloth itself is good. The beach is sandy and a short walk away. There’s a supermarket, cafés, pubs, and the golf course is one of the top 100 in England. You might see porpoises from the promenade.
For walking, you’re on the Solway Coast. The Hadrian's Long-Distance Cycleway starts here if you've brought bikes. If you drive, you're about 30 minutes from Carlisle and the start of Hadrian's Wall. The Northern Lakes, like Keswick, are within an hour. The Lake District National Park site is useful for planning.
Inside, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. It’s wheelchair accessible at the entrance. You can bring up to two dogs.
