Colbheinn Cottage is on the edge of Brora, a few minutes' walk from the beach. It's a decent-sized house, sleeps seven. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It has that 4 Star rating, so it's well looked after and comfortable.
The living room looks out over the garden. There's a wood burner, a big telly with Sky Sports, and a table that seats everyone. The kitchen's modern and has what you need. Two bedrooms have super king beds, one's a twin, and there's a single bedroom. Both bathrooms have a shower cubicle and loo.
The garden is enclosed, mainly lawn, with a picnic table. You can bring one dog.
Brora itself is a proper old fishing village. You can walk to the beach, the harbour, and the golf course. The local shop is handy, and there are a couple of places to eat. For a bigger supermarket, Golspie is about ten minutes south by car.
Within half an hour you've got Dunrobin Castle, which is spectacular. Further north, Helmsdale is worth a visit. Inland, the Strath of Kildonan is good for a drive. If you want a longer trip, both Inverness and John o' Groats are about an hour and a half's drive.
