Rosings
Rosings is in Dungworth, up above the Rivelin Valley. It's a terrace cottage. The back garden has a proper lawn and looks out over fields. You can see for miles.
It sleeps three, with one double bedroom and one single. One bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The stairs are fine, nothing unusual.
You can bring one dog. There's parking for one car on the drive. The garage is there too, which is handy if you've brought bikes.
Inside is open plan downstairs. Patio doors open onto the garden. We put up some decorations in the autumn and for Christmas. It makes it feel a bit cosier in the winter.
There's a washing machine, towels and bedding are included, and you've got WiFi.
The village has a pub. For a shop, you'd drive down to Stannington or into Bradfield. The National Trust Longshaw Estate is close by for walking. The city centre of Sheffield is about a twenty minute drive.
For fishing, Damflask Reservoir is less than ten minutes away. You can get day tickets from a machine there. The circular walk around it is good.
If you're here for the Tramlines Festival, Hillsborough Park is only ten minutes or so by car.
The Peak District is right on the doorstep. You can be at the Peak District National Park visitor centres in Edale or Castleton in under half an hour.
