The Stables is in Marlpit Hill, just outside Edenbridge. It used to be actual stables. The conversion was done well. It's detached, set back from the road behind some gates, with a gravel parking area.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom, which is handy. It's rated four stars, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. There's a woodburning stove in the living area for cooler nights.
The garden is walled. There's a patio with some furniture. It's nice in the sun. You're allowed to bring up to two dogs.
For facilities, it's got pretty much everything: bedding and towels are included, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. We can also provide a cot.
You're about a five-minute walk from Edenbridge Town station. Trains go to London, Tonbridge, and Gatwick. It's handy. The M25 junction is about a fifteen-minute drive.
Locally, there's a pub within walking distance. Edenbridge town centre is a short drive away for shops. A bit further out, in about a ten-minute drive radius, you've got Oxted, Westerham, and Lingfield.
For days out, Hever Castle is very close. Chartwell, Winston Churchill's house, is nearby too. For walking, the Ashdown Forest is a short drive. If you like horse racing, Lingfield Racecourse is about ten minutes away.
