This is Garden House, just outside Arbroath. It's a detached house, so you've got your own space. The garden is enclosed and private. It's a quiet spot, about a mile from town.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It was refurbished a while back, so it's in good order and comfortable. The kitchen is big enough for everyone to sit around the table.
You're about a twenty minute walk from the Seaton Cliffs. It's a good coastal path. Arbroath itself is a proper working town. The harbour's interesting. You have to try an Arbroath Smokie while you're here, it's what the place is known for.
Lunan Bay is about ten minutes drive south. It's a big beach, good for a walk. Auchmithie is a pretty little village to the north, just up the coast. There are plenty of golf courses around, including Carnoustie which is famous.
If you want to go inland, the Angus Glens are within half an hour for walking. For a day out, National Trust for Scotland's House of Dun is nearby, or you can look at Historic Environment Scotland's page for Arbroath Abbey.
Facilities wise: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for a couple of cars. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's a shed for bikes or golf clubs. No pets, I'm afraid.
