Airor is in Ferindonald, on the south end of Skye. It's a detached house. The view looks out over the sound towards the Sleat peninsula. It's quite high up, so you get the view from most rooms.
It sleeps four. Two double bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. The living area is open plan with a wood burner. It works well. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine.
The garden is enclosed. Parking is right there.
You're a bit away from things here. The closest pub or restaurant is about five miles. There's a small shop a couple of miles south. The main town for bigger shops is Broadford, which is fifteen miles north.
For getting out, you can walk straight from the door into the woods. The area is known as the Garden of Skye. There's a lot of wildlife. You might see eagles. Boat trips from the local pier go into the Cuillin mountains or around the coast.
Armadale Castle and the Clan Donald Centre are nearby if you like history. You can catch a ferry from there over to Mallaig.
If you drive north, you can get to Portree, the main town. Further on are places like the Old Man of Storr and the Quiraing. The Fairy Pools are past the Talisker distillery. Dunvegan Castle is out on the west coast. Neist Point Lighthouse is out there too, but it's a lot of steps down to it.
