Bay Cottage

Bay Cottage is in Coytrahên, between Bridgend and Maesteg. It's a detached cottage in the grounds of a bigger Georgian house, Coytrahen House. You get 42 acres of private parkland to walk around. It's mostly woodland.

The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own shower room. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's well finished and comfortable. It's modern inside, not old-fashioned.

There's an open-plan living area. One part has sofas facing the garden, the other has a TV. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a coffee machine. Outside, there's a patio with seating, a barbecue, and a hot tub for four people.

The grounds are the main thing. You can walk the paths through the woods. There are some goats on the estate, they have a trampoline.

The village has a local pub. For shops and more, you'd drive to Bridgend or Maesteg, they're about ten minutes away.

You're well placed for getting around. The M4 is close. Cardiff is about half an hour east. Swansea and the start of the Gower Peninsula are about 40 minutes west. The Brecon Beacons are under an hour north. For local walks and history, Margam Park is nearby.

For amenities: parking is on site, bedding and towels are included, there's wifi and a washing machine. Pets are allowed.
