Bay Cottage
Bay Cottage is in Coytrahên, near Bridgend. It's detached, set in the grounds of Coytrahen House. The house is Georgian and the parkland is about 42 acres, mostly woods. You're free to walk around it.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own shower room. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well finished and comfortable. The living space is open plan. There's a sofa area facing the countryside and another with a TV.
The kitchen has what you need: oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine. There's a dining table in the middle. Outside, there's a patio with a BBQ and a four-person hot tub. The grounds are shared, so you might see the owner's goats. They have a trampoline.
There's a local pub in the village. For shops and more, Bridgend town is a short drive. The M4 is nearby, so getting around is straightforward.
Cardiff is about half an hour east. Swansea and the start of the Gower Peninsula are about half an hour west. The Heritage Coast is close, with beaches like Southerndown and Ogmore. For walking, the Brecon Beacons are under an hour's drive north.
Facilities: all bedding and towels are included, there's a washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside. You can bring up to three dogs.
