Penny Croft is in Llangeinor. It's a detached cottage, in a village at the top of the valley. It's quiet. You get a view out over the garden to fields and trees.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It was all redone a few years back so it's in good order. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. It's not a show home, it's a cottage. The floors upstairs are wooden so you might want slippers.
The kitchen is big and open plan. Good for everyone sitting around the table. There's a separate living room with a TV, and a small snug room off it if someone wants to read. The WiFi works fine.
There's a pub about a hundred yards away. They do food. The garden here is enclosed, with a patio area. Parking for two cars on the drive.
If you're walking or cycling, the Afan Forest Park is very close. It's known for mountain biking trails. The coast, like the Gower, is about half an hour's drive. Caerphilly Castle is worth a trip if you like that sort of thing, it's about 40 minutes. Cardiff is less than an hour's drive if you want a day in the city.
It's got a washing machine, dishwasher, bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
