Meadow Croft Llangeinor

Meadow Croft is in Llangeinor. It’s attached to our house, which is seventeenth century, but the cottage itself is modern. The bit you get is all self-contained, with your own front door and garden.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, which is handy. The rating is 4 Star. It’s clean and comfortable. You can bring one dog.

The main thing is the view. The garden looks south over the valley. It’s two acres of lawn and trees, but you just get a section of it for yourselves. There’s a patio out the back with a table.

The pub is about a hundred yards down the lane. They do food. The nearest shop is about three miles away in Brynmenyn.

If you like walking, you can go straight from the back gate. For cycling, the Afan Forest Park is ten minutes by car. They’ve got proper mountain bike trails there.

The coast is about half an hour’s drive. The Gower Peninsula is beautiful, with good beaches like Rhossili. Inland, you’ve got Caerphilly Castle, which is worth seeing. Cardiff is about forty minutes away if you want a day in the city.

Inside, it’s open plan downstairs. There’s a washing machine and a dishwasher. The WiFi works. You can park right outside.
