Loch Farm Stables is a bungalow on our farm near Watton. It's all on one level, which is handy. It sleeps six, with three bedrooms. Each one has its own bathroom.
The main thing is it’s detached and quiet. You get a big garden that leads into an enclosed meadow. You can sit out there. There’s a hot tub. From the garden you look over fields towards the golf course. You often see deer.
Inside, it’s open plan. The kitchen is good if you like cooking. Big sliding doors open onto the patio. There’s a wood burner for colder nights. It’s got a 5 Star rating so everything is in good order.
Watton village is about three-quarters of a mile away. It’s got a shop, a couple of pubs that do food, and a café. Loch Neaton is just down the road for fishing. You can buy tickets there.
You’re quite central here for getting about. The Norfolk coast is about half an hour’s drive. Places like Wells-next-the-Sea or Holkham. The Norfolk Broads are about the same distance the other way. Thetford Forest is good for walks or cycling, maybe 20 minutes. Norwich is 45 minutes if you want a city day, shopping or the castle.
For local walks, National Trust East of England has details. The Peddars Way runs through Thetford Forest if you’re into longer routes.
Facilities: everything’s included, like bedding, towels, WiFi. There’s a washing machine, dishwasher, and parking right outside. It’s wheelchair accessible. We can provide a cot. You can bring up to two dogs.
