Horseshoe House is in Saham Toney. It's an old Norfolk cottage, about two hundred years old. It's been done up inside. Sleeps four, two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a five star rating, which I suppose means it's a bit more finished than most.
A few things about the layout. There are a couple of internal steps between rooms. The stairs are what they are, steep and narrow. If you or anyone in your party isn't too steady on their feet, you should probably think about that.
The sitting room has an open fire, which is nice in the colder months. One of the bedrooms has a free-standing roll-top bath in it as well as the shower room. The garden's yours to use, with a patio and a barbecue.
The local pub and a restaurant are about half a mile away. There's a shop a mile away in the village.
You're about twenty minutes from Thetford Forest. Good for walks and cycling. The Forestry England site has all the details on the activity stuff like Go Ape if that's your sort of thing. Norwich is about half an hour's drive, if you want a cathedral or a castle. The Visit Norwich site is useful for that.
The north Norfolk coast, places like Holkham or Blakeney, are a bit further. You're looking at around forty-five minutes to an hour to get to the beaches.
It has the usual things: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right at the house. No pets allowed.
