Alma House

Alma House is in Marlborough in Wiltshire. It's a former coach house and it's Grade II listed. The street outside is cobbled and it's right by the High Street.

It sleeps eight people across four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It has a 5 Star rating. It's a comfortable house, not a show home. The stairs are fine but there are two staircases, so have a look at the floor plan to see how the rooms connect.

The kitchen is well equipped. There's a range cooker, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Wood for the stove is included. There's a small sitting area out the front with a table and chairs.

You're a minute's walk from Marlborough High Street. It's wide, it has a market on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and there are pubs, restaurants, and shops. The Savernake Forest is on the edge of town for walks.

Avebury is about ten miles away. The stone circle is bigger and older than Stonehenge, and you can walk right up to the stones. It's run by the National Trust. Silbury Hill is just down the road from there.

Within about a half hour drive you can get to the Vale of Pewsey, Devizes, and the edge of the Cotswolds. Further out, but still under an hour, you've got places like Stonehenge, the Roman Baths in Bath, Longleat, or Stourhead.

The facilities are what you'd expect: parking, wifi, all bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. You can bring up to two dogs.
