Stitchcombe Mill
Stitchcombe Mill is an old mill house from the 1700s. It's on its own, detached, with the river running along one side of the garden. The garden is private.
It sleeps eight people. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms, which helps with a bigger group. We've got a 4 Star rating. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. The bedding and towels are included.
You can bring up to two dogs. The garden isn't fully enclosed, so you'd need to keep an eye on them by the river.
The location is quiet. It's in a small hamlet called Stitchcombe. You're about two miles from Marlborough. There's a pub one mile away, and the shops are in Marlborough.
For things to do, Marlborough has everything you need. Avebury and the stone circle is very close. The Ridgeway path is right here for walking. Savernake Forest is on the doorstep.
You can drive to a lot of places from here within an hour. That includes Stonehenge, Bath, and Longleat.
