Dunmore Villa Whitehouse

Dunmore Villa is in Whitehouse, near Tarbert in Argyll. It's a detached house, sleeps twelve, with six bedrooms and four bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place. It's been upgraded, so it's got things like solar panels and new bathrooms. There's a wood burner.

The main thing is the view. Every bedroom looks out over the sea, which is Loch Fyne. There's a glass-fronted dining room and a terrace so you can sit and look at it. It's on a big estate with about two miles of coastline.

If you've got a boat, there's a ramp and a jetty. You can fish from there too. The garden is yours.

It's about seven miles, a scenic drive, to Tarbert village. That's where the shops and places to eat are. A few dog-friendly pubs there. For something different, there's a coastal spa with a heated outdoor pool about twenty minutes away by ferry.

You're right on the water so you can walk straight out. The area is good for coastal walks, it's relatively flat. There are some castles nearby like Tarbert Castle and Skipness Castle. You can get ferries from here to places like Arran, Islay, and Jura if you want a day trip.

Facilities: it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
