May Tree Cottage is on Penyrheol Farm in Llysworney. It used to be a stone barn but it's been converted now. The farm isn't working anymore, so it's quiet. You're welcome to walk in the fields, but there are sheep so dogs need to be on a lead.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. One double room and one with bunk beds. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's all on one level and designed to be wheelchair friendly, with a ramp and wide doors.
The main room is open plan, lounge and diner together. The kitchen is two small steps down from there. It's got solid oak units and a dishwasher. There's a patio outside with a picnic bench and a BBQ.
The village pub is about 300 yards away. They do food. Cowbridge is two miles from here. It's an old market town with shops and places to eat. For a beach, Southerndown is about nine miles. It's a good sandy beach when the tide's out.
Cardiff is 16 miles away. That's easy for a day out. The National Trust's Dyrham Park is about half an hour by car. For local walks, the Vale of Glamorgan coastal path is good.
Everything you'd expect is here. Washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring two dogs. Parking is right outside.
