Right, Brookside. It's in Treoes, which is small village in the Vale of Glamorgan, between Bridgend and Cardiff.
It's a terraced cottage that sleeps five. Three bedrooms upstairs and a family bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean, and it's been set up to be accessible. The entrance is level, there's a walk-in shower, and there are seats in the bath and shower. That's all there. The stairs are a bit steep, as you'd expect.
Downstairs it's open plan, living and dining room together. The kitchen is separate off the back. It leads out to an enclosed garden. There's an outhouse and a bit of garage space you can use, handy for bikes. Parking is on the driveway at the front.
The village has a pub. It does food. For a proper shop, you'd drive to Bridgend. The coast is about seven miles away. Ogmore and Southerndown are good beaches for a walk or surfing.
You can get to Cardiff city centre in about 40 minutes, same for Swansea. If you're here for history, St Fagans National Museum of History is well worth a visit, and Castell Coch is nearby. For general planning, the Visit Wales site is useful, and the National Trust Wales pages cover local places like Dunraven Bay.
Inside there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
