Woodside Cottage Glen Rinnes

Woodside Cottage is ours. It's about three miles from Dufftown, in Glen Rinnes. It's detached, just you and the house, sat in about 24 acres of our land. The back garden looks straight out at Ben Rinnes. You see a lot of heather.

There are three bedrooms and it sleeps five. One bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. We have hens, so you can help yourself to eggs if you like. We see red deer around regularly.

The garden is enclosed. There's a woodburning stove, which is good for cooler evenings. We've got a TV, a washing machine, parking right there, and all the bedding and towels are included.

We accept two well-behaved dogs. We have a fenced three-acre paddock specifically for letting dogs run about safely off-lead. You're welcome to walk around the wider grounds.

The nearest shop and pub is in Dufftown, about four miles away. Dufftown has a few places to eat and a decent co-op.

If you're here to walk, you're right on the edge of the Cairngorms. You can walk up Ben Rinnes from near the house. For skiing, it's about an hour's drive to the Lecht or CairnGorm Mountain. Castles like Balmoral are within an hour. The coast, places like Spey Bay or Cullen, is about forty minutes in the car.
