Glenlivet View Auchbreck

Glenlivet View is a detached house here in Auchbreck. It looks out over the Cromdale Hills and the Glenlivet Estate. The view is good, especially from the patio doors.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-insulated, which helps as it can get windy.

The living area is all open plan. There's a fully enclosed garden if you have dogs. We allow up to two well-behaved pets. Towels and bedding are included.

You're fairly remote here. The nearest pub that does food is about three miles away in Tomintoul. For a big shop, you'd drive to Grantown-on-Spey, which is about ten miles. Ballindalloch station is nearer if you come by train.

If you like whisky, you're in the right place. The Malt Whisky Trail starts nearby. The Glenlivet distillery is the closest, about a ten minute drive. Dufftown has several more, like Glenfiddich. The Macallan is about half an hour away, near Craigellachie.

For walks, you're on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park. There are good paths right from the door. Ballindalloch Castle is about twenty minutes by car. If you want the coast, the Moray Firth beaches are roughly forty minutes north, past Elgin.

In winter, the Lecht ski centre is about a twenty-five minute drive. It's small but fine for beginners or if there's good snow.

Facilities are as listed: dishwasher, washing machine, TV, parking for two cars. We provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
