Glenlivet View Auchbreck

Glenlivet View is a lodge in Auchbreck. It's detached, so no neighbours on the walls. It's on a single track road, so it's quiet. The view from the back is over the Glenlivet Estate towards the Cairngorms. You can see hills.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's warm and clean. The living area and kitchen are all one open room, with patio doors looking out at the view.

You're pretty remote. The nearest pub that does food is about three miles away in Tomintoul. The proper shop is ten miles, so you'll want to bring supplies. There's a washing machine and dishwasher. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you have dogs. You can bring two.

You're right in the middle of whisky country. The Malt Whisky Trail runs through here. Glenlivet distillery is the closest, about a ten minute drive. Dufftown has a few more like Glenfiddich, that's about twenty minutes away.

If you want castles, Ballindalloch is nearby and it's a proper one. For walking, you're on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park. The Lecht ski centre is about twenty minutes by car for winter sports. The Moray Coast, with its beaches, is about 45 minutes to an hour's drive north.

The facilities are what you see. There's parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. The TV works. The heating is electric and it's included.
