The Stables is in Nibley, in Gloucestershire. It’s a standalone conversion from an old stable block on my land. It’s private and quiet.
It’s a 5 Star property, so everything is new and well-finished. It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both rooms are doubles, one is a king-size. They each have their own bathroom and a TV.
The whole downstairs is open-plan. There’s a kitchen with a breakfast bar, a dining table, and a sitting area. It’s a good space to be in. You’ll find a welcome pack with some basics when you arrive.
Outside, there’s a big decked area with loungers and seating, and a bit of grass with a table. Please be aware there’s a well on the deck. It’s covered and safe, but just mind it.
The location is good for getting around. Bristol is about a 20-minute drive. Bath is maybe half an hour. You’re right on the edge of the Cotswolds, so places like Tetbury and Castle Combe are within half an hour for a wander.
For walks and local information, the Cotswolds National Landscape site is useful. For days out further afield, National Trust Gloucestershire has lists of properties and walks.
Facilities wise, it has a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside. All bedding and towels are provided. No pets, I'm afraid.
