The Stables

The Stables is in Nibley, which is roughly halfway between Bristol and the Cotswolds. It's a single-storey property, so everything's on the ground floor.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both doubles, and each has its own bathroom. Because it's converted from an old stable, the ceilings have oak beams and the space feels quite generous. There's a welcome pack when you arrive with some basics.

The living area is open plan: kitchen, dining table, and sofas together. The kitchen is modern and has everything you need. Both bedrooms have smart TVs. Slippers and robes are here for you, and we ask that shoes are left at the door.

Outside is a raised deck with furniture and some sun loungers. There's a grassed area too. There's an old well on the deck, behind a safety grate. It's fine, but just be aware of it if you have children.

It's a quiet spot. The M5 and M4 junctions are about a 20-minute drive. Bristol is easy to get to, maybe 25 minutes depending on traffic. Bath is a bit further, maybe 35 minutes. You can be in Tetbury or Castle Combe in half an hour.

For walks, the Cotswold Way runs nearby. The National Trust has a lot of places locally, like Newark Park or Dyrham Park.

Included in the price: all bedding and towels, WiFi, parking right outside, and use of the washing machine and dishwasher. No pets, sorry.
