Pond is in Sedgehill, Wiltshire. It's a detached bungalow, so everything's on one level. It's on Whitebridge Farm, which isn't a working farm anymore, just a quiet spot with a few other cottages around a grassy courtyard. You get your own enclosed garden and patio.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms and has two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is good. It's comfortable and clean. Being a bungalow, the doors and layout are straightforward, no weird stairs to worry about.
The cottage is on about ten acres. There's a kids' play area by the main car park. If you've got dogs, there's a field right next to the property you can walk them in. You can bring up to two pets.
You're on the edge of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so the walking and cycling round here is excellent. Both the South Wiltshire and Dorset cycle ways pass nearby. Shaftesbury is a short drive. The famous Gold Hill is there if you want to see it.
For a day out, Stourhead is close. Stonehenge and the Avebury Stone Circle are within easy reach. You can get to Salisbury, Bath, or the Dorset coast in under an hour if you fancy a change.
There's a shop, pub, and restaurant about a mile away. If you have an electric car, there are two fast chargers about a seven minute walk from the cottage, at a good deli where you can wait.
Facilities: everything you'd expect really. WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking right outside.
