Glossoms Lodge
This place is called Glossoms Lodge. It's an annexe next to our house on the farm in Scalford, Leicestershire.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well equipped. Everything is on the ground floor.
You've got your own patio area out the front. It's quiet. We're a working stud farm, so there are usually horses in the fields. Sometimes there are foals in the spring. You're welcome to walk on the farm track and in the empty fields.
The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's a TV and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside. No pets, I'm afraid.
You're about three miles from Melton Mowbray. It's a proper market town with shops and places to eat. The countryside around here is good for walks and cycling.
Belvoir Castle is about 20 minutes away by car. Rutland Water is less than half an hour. That's good for walking, cycling, or if you're into birdwatching.
