Hill Farm Harby

Hill Farm is a detached farmhouse on a small working farm. It's out in the open countryside, about a mile and a half from Harby village. The house is big and sleeps ten people. Six bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating.

The place is detached, so you've got your own space. There's a garden that's enclosed, which is handy if you've got a dog or kids. You can park on site.

Inside, it's got a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. There's a dishwasher, a washing machine, WiFi, and satellite TV. We provide bedding and towels. There's a cot, highchair, and a stairgate available if you need them.

Because it's a working farm, you'll see and hear farm animals. There are fields all around. You can start walks or bike rides right from the door. There's also storage if you bring bicycles.

The nearest shop and pub are about a mile away in the village. Melton Mowbray is about seven miles off. That's where you get the famous pork pies.

Belvoir Castle is close by. Rutland Water is within a half hour drive. There's a lot to do there: sailing, walking, cycling, birdwatching. You can find out more at Rutland Water and Belvoir Castle.

Further afield, within about half an hour, you've got towns like Oakham, Stamford, and Grantham. Nottingham is about 45 minutes for bigger shops.

One pet is allowed. There's also a day spa with a pool and gym just a couple of minutes down the road if you fancy that.
