Hill Farm Harby

Hill Farm is a detached farmhouse on our small working farm. It's about a mile and a half outside Harby village. You're surrounded by fields here, so it's quiet.

It sleeps ten, in six bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped but not a show home. It's a proper farmhouse.

You get the enclosed garden to yourselves. There's parking right there. Inside, there's a woodburning stove for cooler nights, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and WiFi. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. We allow one well-behaved dog.

The local pub is about a mile away in Harby. It serves food. Melton Mowbray is seven miles off for bigger shops. It's famous for its pork pies, if that's your thing.

You can walk or cycle straight from the door. For a day out, Belvoir Castle is close by. Rutland Water is about a half hour drive. It's huge, good for sailing, cycling, or walking. The RSPB has a nature reserve there if you like birdwatching.

Further afield, within about half an hour, you've got places like Sherwood Forest and Clumber Park. Nottingham is about 40 minutes away for shopping.

There's a private day spa with a pool, gym, and outdoor jacuzzi about two minutes down the road. You have to book and pay separately for that.
