Drumurnie Tomintoul

Drumurnie is in Tomintoul. It's a two-bedroom cottage that sleeps four. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.

The living room is a good size and the kitchen has a table for meals. There's one bathroom with a walk-in shower. One double bedroom and one with two single beds. It's all on the ground floor, so no stairs to worry about.

You get a garden at the back. It's enclosed and it looks out over the fields. It's a quiet spot to sit in the evening.

Tomintoul is the highest village in the Highlands. It's quiet. There's a local pub and you can start walks right from the door. The area is a Dark Sky Park, so on a clear night the stars are very good.

You're right in the middle of the Snow Roads scenic route. The Lecht ski centre is about five miles away for skiing in winter or mountain biking in summer. You're also close to the Speyside Whisky Trail if that's of interest.

Within about an hour's drive you can get to the Cairngorm Mountain funicular, the Highland Wildlife Park, and the Landmark Adventure Centre in Carrbridge.

For facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. Sorry, no pets.
