Honey Cottage
Honey Cottage is on the edge of Auchnarrow, which is a small village in Aberdeenshire. It's a detached stone cottage, so it's on its own. The garden is enclosed, which is handy for dogs and kids.
It sleeps seven, but that's across two bedrooms. One's a double and the other's a family room with bunk beds and a single. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean. The stairs are quite steep. You'll notice that.
The cottage has a woodburning stove, which is good for cooler evenings. There's a washing machine, a TV, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to three pets.
Auchnarrow is quiet. You're there for the countryside. It's good walking country straight from the door. The River Spey is nearby if you fish.
For bigger days out, the Cairngorms National Park is about a 30 minute drive. Ballindalloch Castle is roughly 20 minutes away by car. If you're interested in whisky, there are several distilleries along Speyside within that half hour drive.
