Inchkeith View is a second-floor apartment on the south bank of the Firth of Forth, about two miles from the city centre. It's got two bedrooms. One has a king-size double, the other has twins. There's one shower room with a walk-in shower.
The main thing is the view. The living room and the raised dining table look straight out over the water towards Inchkeith Island and Fife. You can sit and watch the ships go by.
It was all updated in 2022. It's comfortable and clean. You've got a washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, and Wi-Fi. Bedding and towels are included.
The building is on a main road. There are regular buses right outside that go into the city centre and to the airport. You'll hear some traffic. Parking is on-street, which is usually fine.
For a walk, you can head west a few hundred yards to Wardie Bay. It's a small beach. When the tide's out, it's a good spot. To the east, it's about a mile and a half along the coast to the Port of Leith, where the Royal Yacht Britannia is moored.
There are plenty of pubs and restaurants within a 15-minute walk. In Leith, you've got some high-end places if that's your thing.
You're well placed for Edinburgh. The castle is about two and a half miles away. For a day out, you can easily drive to East Lothian for the golf courses and coastal walks, or into the Pentland Hills. Stirling and the Forth bridges are about a 40-minute drive.
