Powderhall Brae is a first floor flat in Edinburgh. It's on a quiet street but you're only about a ten minute walk from the centre, or there are buses right outside if you don't fancy it.
It sleeps five. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well kept. The living room gets a lot of light and has a small balcony you can step out onto. There's a piano in there too, if anyone plays.
The kitchen is a good size. It's got a dishwasher and a washing machine. You can park on site, which is a big help in Edinburgh.
You're walkable to Stockbridge, which has shops and a few pubs. Into the city centre, you've got the usual things: the Castle, the Royal Mile, Holyrood. For planning, the Historic Environment Scotland site is useful.
If you want to get out of the city for a bit, you can drive to the coast at Portobello in about fifteen minutes. East Lothian, for beaches and golf, is about half an hour away. The Pentland Hills are about twenty minutes drive if you want a proper walk without going far.
Bedding and towels are included. There's a highchair if you need one. No pets.
