Benwells Holiday Cottage is in Bulwark, Aberdeenshire. It's a detached house, so no neighbours through the walls. It sleeps six, has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped.
The place is quite remote. You're surrounded by fields. For a shop or a cafe, you drive about five minutes to Maud. It's a small village with the basics. The cycle track on the old railway line starts nearby. You can cycle towards Fraserburgh, Peterhead, or Ellon. The hub is at the Maud Railway Museum, about two miles away.
You're well placed for exploring the north east. The coast is about half an hour's drive. Places like Fraserburgh and Peterhead are old fishing ports. There are good beaches too, like the dunes at Fraserburgh. Plenty of castles and country parks within a 30 minute drive, like Haddo House or Pitfour Estate. There are lots of golf courses nearby if that's your thing. The whisky trail is all through this part of Scotland as well.
For facilities: it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a patio and garden, and parking right there. No pets, sorry.
