Glen View Laggan

Glen View is a bungalow in Laggan. It's one of a few on the site, but you have your own bit of garden and parking right outside. The front looks out over the loch.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, and two bathrooms which is handy. One is an en-suite off the main bedroom. Everything's on one level so there are no stairs to worry about. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. The living area is open plan with the kitchen.

You can get straight out to the lochside from the patio. There's a bench out there. Sometimes you see boats going past.

It's very quiet here. The nearest proper shop is in Newtonmore, about a 15 minute drive. There's a local pub a short walk away.

Fort William is roughly half an hour's drive. That's where you go for Ben Nevis or the Jacobite steam train. Inverness is about the same distance the other way. The road to the Isle of Skye starts at Fort William, but it's a long drive for a day trip, maybe two hours. Eilean Donan Castle is on that road too.

If you want to get on the water, Loch Morlich is good for watersports and it's not too far. For walking, you're right in the Cairngorms. There are plenty of trails straight from the door.

Facilities: it has a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets allowed.
