Oich View is in Laggan. It's a modern cottage, one of a block of four, set right beside Loch Oich. You get the bit of ground in front, with a bench, which goes straight down to the water.
It sleeps four. Two double bedrooms, both on the ground floor, each with its own bathroom. The main living area is open plan: kitchen, dining table, and sitting area together. The rating is 3 Star, which is right. It's clean, comfortable, and practical.
The location is good for getting about. You're right in the Great Glen. It's quiet. There's a hotel up the road in Laggan that does food. For bigger shops, you're looking at Fort William or Inverness.
You're between two lochs, Oich and Lochy. You can walk or cycle the Great Glen Way from the door. Fort William is about half an hour's drive. From there you can go up Ben Nevis, or get the Jacobite steam train to Mallaig.
Within about 30 minutes you've also got the Commando Memorial at Spean Bridge, and you can get to the Caledonian Canal at Fort Augustus to watch the boats. Inverness is a bit further, maybe an hour. The road to Skye and Eilean Donan Castle is just up the glen.
For facilities: it's got a dishwasher, TV, parking right outside, and bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets allowed.
