Hoopers Farmhouse is in Tilshead, right on the edge of Salisbury Plain. It's part of a bigger thatched farmhouse, but you get your own separate bit. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you've got dogs.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. The thatch means the ceilings are low in places, and the stairs are steep, but that's just how it is.
There's a pub about a minute's walk away. They do good food, including an Italian menu. You should book a table if you fancy eating there. The village shop is handy for basics.
The open plan living area has a woodburning stove for winter. The kitchen's got a washing machine and a decent freezer. Bedding and towels are included.
You're on the Plain here, so walking and cycling is right on the doorstep. It's an army training area too, so just check the online notices if you're heading out. Stonehenge is about a twenty minute drive. Salisbury's a bit further, maybe half an hour, for the cathedral and shops.
Further out, you've got the New Forest to the south-east and the Dorset coast to the south. Both are about an hour or so away by car.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking on the gravel drive.
