It's called Hoopers Farmhouse. It's in Tilshead, on the edge of Salisbury Plain. It's a thatched cottage, so that's the main thing you'll notice when you arrive. It's attached to the main farmhouse but you have your own front door.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which is useful. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable but it's not a show home. The ceilings are low in places, which is normal for a place like this. Mind your head.
The garden is enclosed but it's small. It's fine for a morning coffee or letting the dogs out.
You're right in the village. There's a shop and a pub about a minute's walk away. The pub serves food and there's an Italian restaurant in the same building. You'll need to book for the restaurant.
Salisbury Plain is all around you. It's good for walking, but parts of it are used by the army for training. Check online for access before you set off. Stonehenge is about a 15 minute drive. Salisbury city, with the cathedral, is about half an hour.
Further out, you can get to the New Forest in just over an hour. The Dorset coast is about an hour and a half.
Facilities wise: there's a woodburner, wifi, a washing machine, on-site parking, and all bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to three dogs.
