Henge Estate

Henge Estate is a Georgian manor house near Elston. It's Grade II listed, so it's old. It sits in about 25 acres of its own land.

The house sleeps eight. There are four bedrooms, all with their own bathrooms. Two of the beds are zip-and-link super kings, so you can have them as twins if you want. There's also a library on the ground floor that can be set up with a double bed if someone doesn't want to use the stairs. The stairs are fine, Georgian style.

The kitchen has an Aga. It works well but takes a bit of getting used to if you haven't used one before. There's a farmhouse table in there. The basement has a games room. Outside, there's a walled garden off the kitchen, which is quite private. Then there are larger lawned areas, good for sitting out or for kids to run about. There's a woodland walk on the property, about a mile and a half long.

You can bring two dogs. The wet room on the ground floor, off the library, is where you'd wash them down. It's also the shower room for that bedroom.

The local village is half a mile away. It has a shop, a pub, and a restaurant. Stonehenge is very close, about a five minute drive. Salisbury is about twenty minutes. For a wider day out, Bath, Winchester, or the New Forest are all within a 30 to 45 minute drive.

Facilities: There's parking, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair.
