The Parlour is on our farm in Sutton on Trent. It's a converted barn, semi-detached. You'll see the farmyard from the front and open fields from the back. It's quiet.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own shower room, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's recently done up, so everything works and it's well insulated. The floors are tile and wood, so it's practical.
There's a proper garden with a patio, a table and chairs, and a barbecue. You can park right outside. There's an electric vehicle charger if you need it.
Inside, it's all open plan downstairs. Kitchen, dining area, and sitting area in one room. It has a TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. We include all bedding and towels. We can provide a cot and a highchair.
You can bring one dog. The garden is enclosed, but it's not totally escape-proof if you have a real houdini.
The local pub is about a mile away in the village. They do food. The shop is there too.
For walks, you can just go straight out from the door onto the public footpaths. The River Trent is close by if you like fishing. There are a couple of fishing lakes nearby as well.
Newark is about a 15 minute drive. They have the castle, the antiques fairs, and the showground. Lincoln is about half an hour away. The cathedral is worth seeing. You can be on the A1 in a few minutes if you're driving further out.
