The Lodge At Elmley Meadow

The Lodge is in Elmley Castle, in Worcestershire. It’s attached to our house, but you have your own space. We keep a few sheep and chickens here. You can see Bredon Hill from the garden.

It sleeps four. There's one double bedroom downstairs and a twin room upstairs. One shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating from Visit England. The living area is open plan with a wood burner. It's cosy.

The parking is right outside. You have a private, enclosed patio with a table and BBQ. The field next to us is also enclosed if your dogs need a run.

The village pub is about half a mile down the lane. It's a nice walk. Elmley Castle itself is just a pretty street of old houses. The castle is long gone, but you can still see the earthworks.

You're at the foot of Bredon Hill. There are footpaths straight from the end of the drive. The 18-mile 'Around the Hill' cycle route goes past. For a bigger walk, you can head up onto the hill. The views are good.

Pershore is three miles away for shops. Evesham is five miles. Worcester is about thirteen miles, if you want the cathedral or the county cricket. Tewkesbury Abbey is a similar distance.

You're quite close to the Cotswolds. Broadway is about eight miles. Cheltenham, Malvern, and Stratford-upon-Avon are all within a half hour drive.

What's here: the wood burner, WiFi, TV, washing machine, cot and highchair if needed, all the bedding and towels. Parking for two cars.
