Abercyros Cottage
Abercyros Cottage is in Llangammarch Wells. It's a detached house, so you've got your own space all around. The garden is big and enclosed. Good for dogs or kids. There's a patio with a barbecue too.
It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. That makes mornings easier. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped, not just basic.
The front door and ground floor are wheelchair accessible, but it's worth checking the full layout if you have specific mobility needs.
The village is quiet. There's a shop about five minutes walk away. For a meal out, the Lake Country House Hotel is on the edge of the village. They do afternoon tea and have a spa you can book into. The nearest pub for food is about three miles away.
If you like walking, the Epynt Way long-distance path starts right at the end of the drive. The views from the top are great. The Brecon Beacons National Park is about half an hour's drive. Builth Wells is twenty minutes away and has all the usual shops, cafes, and a few takeaways. It's where the Royal Welsh Showground is.
Inside, it's got a wood burner, which is nice on cooler evenings. There's a dishwasher and washing machine. WiFi, TV, all the usual things. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
