The Stalls
The Stalls is one of two barns next to each other on our farm. It's half a mile outside Aynho. We've got the other one, The Hayloft, so you'll only see us if you need anything.
It's a big space. Four double bedrooms, three bathrooms. Sleeps eight comfortably. It's got a wood burning stove which is good for colder nights. The floors are wood so it can be a bit noisy.
Outside, there's a patio with a table and chairs. You look out over the fields. It's very quiet.
The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
Aynho village is about a twenty minute walk. There's a pub there that does food. The shop is in Croughton, about three miles away.
For walks, you can start right from the door. There are good footpaths. If you drive, you can be in the Cotswolds proper in about twenty minutes. Places like Chipping Norton or Moreton-in-Marsh.
Banbury is ten minutes away for supermarkets and the train station. Trains to London are about fifty minutes from there.
Blenheim Palace is maybe twenty five minutes' drive. A good day out. Blenheim Palace. Silverstone is about the same distance the other way.
Further afield, Oxford is forty minutes. Stratford-upon-Avon is about fifty.
