To curl up with a book in the garden room overlooking the garden, is lovely break for the less energetic. Also handy for visiting is Richard III’s tomb in Leicester Cathedral and plus The National Space Centre. Althorp House, home of Princess Diana, is also within range, as is Geoff Hamilton’s Garden. The railway station is only 5 miles away, with just an hour’s journey to London, pickups from the station can be arranged with the owner. There are also regular buses from the village to Market Harborough, Uppingham, Oakham, Melton Mowbray Corby and Leicester. There is a fantastic pub/restaurant 176 yards away and there is also a great farm shop just around the corner. .
