The Granary
The Granary provides a very good standard of accommodation in the pretty and peaceful village of Aisby. Situated near the end of a no through road, this renovated detached cottage has its own private walled garden with a gated entrance, and is suitable for couples, friends and families alike. Numerous walks and cycle routes are close at hand, and a lovely country pub, with beams, log fires, fine real ales and delicious food, is only a 15-minute stroll away. For those wishing to explore further afield, Stamford, Lincoln, Newark, Oakham and Uppingham offer NT houses, castles, museums, antique centres, and numerous pubs and restaurants. Those interested in WW2 can visit the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, and the Lincolnshire Aviation Centre, which are a few miles east of the market town of Sleaford. There are also numerous golf courses nearby including the National Golf Centre at Woodhall Spa, and Rutland Water offers various water sports throughout the year, the circular track around the reservoir provides easy walking and cycling for all ages with bikes available for hire.
