Kane's Cottage

This lovely cottage on the west side of Lincoln, next to the common, is ideal for a city break, holiday or as a business base. Within a 15-minute walk or short bus ride of the popular Bailgate and Castle area which has many restaurants, bars, boutique shops and tea rooms for refreshment as you explore this thriving city. Stroll down the cobbled Steep Hill to the Brayford Wharf where you can dine whilst watching the boats sail by.
Lincoln Castle hosts many events throughout the year with the famous Lincoln Christmas Market, Steampunk Festival, and the annual cycling Grand Prix. For a day out, Newark Showground is a short drive away with its regular international antique fairs, annual agricultural show . Market Rasen Racecourse and the Lincolnshire Wolds are approximately 30 minutes’ away. In June, animal lovers can enjoy the Lincolnshire agricultural show.
History buffs are sure to be kept well occupied at the Bomber Command tourist centre, open most of the year. Enjoy endless walks through the countryside and many Wolds villages, with tea rooms and village pubs for refreshments. After a day exploring you can dine out or sit at home and enjoy the evening sun in your own private back garden. Shop, bars, restaurant are all within a mile.
