Taigh An Uillt is a detached house on the waterfront in Kames, that's just across from Tighnabruaich on Argyll's so-called Secret Coast. Sea views from the front look straight out over the Kyles of Bute. It's about 20 yards to the water.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's spacious and clean with good facilities. The front patio and garden are enclosed. The entrance has level access, so it's suitable for someone using a wheelchair.
You can bring a dog.
There's no shop right outside the door. The nearest pub is a mile's walk up the road in Tighnabruaich. The village street has a couple of cafes, a gallery or two, and places for food. For a good sandy beach, you can drive to Millhouse Bay which is about a mile away.
You're in a good spot for exploring. You can catch ferries to the islands like Bute or Arran. Rothesay on Bute is popular. The sea lochs around here are sheltered, so they're great for sailing or fishing. There's golf nearby.
The Waverley paddle steamer sometimes comes through the Kyles of Bute in the summer season. Further afield, you've got Inveraray Castle or the Botanic Gardens at Benmore. Portavadie Marina has a spa and a restaurant.
Inside, you've got a washing machine, a dishwasher, and wifi. TV. Cot available. All bedding and towels are included. Parking is on site.
