This is The Nicolson House in Lemreway. It's a croft house, part of the village. It looks out over the sea towards Eilean Liubhaird island. You can see the Shiant Islands, Skye, and the mainland on a clear day. People say Lemreway is very beautiful.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom. Two twin rooms upstairs, one double downstairs. All the bedrooms have an armchair and a sea view. The bathroom is on the ground floor too. It's got a 4 Star rating.
There are two front doors. Use the one on the left. It brings you straight into the kitchen. The main sitting room is through there, with an open fire. There's a separate steep staircase up from the kitchen to another sitting area with a writing desk by the window, and a sofa bed.
The garden is enclosed. There's a sauna in it. You can park on site. We take up to two pets. Bedding and towels are included, and there's wifi and a washing machine.
The house was renovated in 2021. It is wheelchair accessible at the entrance and has ground floor facilities.
For things to do, the whole island is the attraction. The Callanish Stones are about an hour's drive. Stornoway is 45 minutes. The beaches at Uig and on Harris are within an hour. For walks, the coastal path is right here. You can fish locally.
