Elderflower Lodge

Elderflower Lodge is one of two log cabins in Stoulton. They're Scandinavian style, so they're pine wood inside and out. They're detached from each other, sat in the middle of a two-acre field. You get your own bit of garden that's fenced off, with a swing and slide for kids.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. That's handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is good. It's modern and clean.

The best bit is the view. You look out from the decking over a small lake and across to Bredon Hill and the Malverns. There's a hot tub on the deck as well. You get a barbecue too. It's very quiet out here.

Inside, it's open plan. There's a woodburning stove for cooler nights. You've got a dishwasher, WiFi, parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets allowed.

The village has a Norman church and some footpaths. There's a pub that does food about a mile away. The nearest shop is in the next village, about two and a half miles.

If you want to go out, Croome Court is about four miles. It's a National Trust place with Capability Brown gardens. Malvern is a nice town to walk around, about a 20 minute drive. Worcester is about 25 minutes, you've got the cathedral and the river. Pershore and Evesham are closer, they're proper market towns. Stratford-upon-Avon and Cheltenham are both about 45 minutes by car if you fancy a longer trip.
