Horsemans

Horsemans is near John o' Groats. It's a detached cottage, so no one attached to the sides. There's a patio and garden area.

It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. Two doubles and a twin. There's one shower room, with a shower cubicle. It has a 3 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean.

The living space is open plan, so the kitchen, dining and sitting area are all one room. It works well for a group.

The village of John o' Groats is about a ten minute walk. The famous signpost is there. The coastal views are very good, you can see the Orkney Islands from the cliffs. Boat trips from there or nearby can sometimes spot seals and dolphins.

The Castle of Mey is a 15 minute drive away. It was the Queen Mother's house. The gardens are nice. Castle of Mey.

You're right on the North Coast 500 route if that's your plan. Thurso is about a 20 minute drive for bigger shops. Wick is about 30 minutes.
