Bayview Stornoway

Bayview is a well finished bungalow on the rural outskirts of Stornoway in the Outer Hebrides. Enjoying views across fields to Stornoway, you have the best of both worlds at Bayview being in a peaceful setting whilst having a great town only a stroll away. Stornoway is a great place. You’ll likely arrive in town by ferry from the mainland and get to know the town during your holiday. The harbour is picturesque with Lews Castle overlooking the water. There are great places to eat and drink. There are some great wee stores for those shopaholics amongst you.

The real advantage of being at Bayview though is easy access to the rest of Lewis and Harris. You can be exploring the west and north of Lewis in no time at all, finding yourself wandering around the lighthouse at the Butt of Lewis, strolling through the Blackhouse Village and being taken aback by the unbelievable Callanish Standing Stones. Uig Bay where the Lewis Chessmen were found is close too and has arguably one of the best beaches in Europe. More famous beaches lie to the south over the North Harris hills and beyond the charming little port town of Tarbert. Luskentyre has to be a port of call during your time visiting Bayview. You can travel all over Lewis and Harris and find spectacular beaches. Whether it’s going to a beach, for a walk or just to relax then Bayview provide the perfect bases for your holiday to explore this tranquil island.

The accommodation at Bayview is spacious for four people, and it particularly suits a couple, family or just friends. There are 3 steps as you enter the property and go into the conservatory, which is a nice space to soak up the views from and also take advantage of a workspace that has been set-up . There are two bedrooms, one kingsize and a twin room. The family bathroom has a waterfall shower over bath. The living room is spacious and looks out to the fields. The kitchen/dining room has everything you’ll need to cook up a storm after days out exploring the island! Bayview is a well located, spacious and very comfortable holiday home close to Stornoway and enjoying a nice rural setting.
