Clover Cottage is a bungalow near Sollas on North Uist. It's detached, built a few years ago. It's very straightforward, no old cottage quirks. The rating is 4 Star. It feels clean and solid.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one is a double, the other has twin beds. One bathroom with a good shower. The main room is open plan, kitchen and living area together. Doors go straight out to the garden.
The garden is enclosed. It looks over fields to the sea. You get sheep in the fields. The beach is a ten minute walk, maybe a bit less. It's a big sandy beach. You can see the Atlantic from the garden.
There's an outbuilding with a washing machine and a table tennis table. Useful for storing bikes or wetsuits. Parking is right outside.
North Uist is quiet. It feels very remote, but you're on a chain of islands connected by causeways. You can drive to Benbecula and South Uist easily. The ferry to Harris takes about an hour from Berneray.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
