Oakwell Lodge is in Gillingham, Kent. It's a detached lodge, so you're on your own. It sleeps three in one bedroom. There's a sofa bed in the living area. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and in good order.
The main thing is that it's all on the ground floor. No stairs. There's a walk-in shower wet room. That makes it straightforward for mobility or if you just don't fancy steps.
You've got your own patio and garden with a barbecue. It's set back from the road, so it's private. There's parking right outside and an electric vehicle charger.
Inside, it's open plan. Woodburning stove for colder nights. TV, WiFi, dishwasher, washing machine. All the bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
Gillingham itself is a town. There's a local pub within walking distance. For a bigger shop or more places to eat, you'd drive. The Riverside Country Park is nearby along the Medway. Good for a flat walk by the water.
If you want to explore, Leeds Castle is about a 20 minute drive. The Historic Dockyard at Chatham is even closer, maybe 10 minutes. For the coast, Whitstable or Herne Bay are roughly half an hour by car.
